Who we are
Layer Zero is run by JustiPhi Technologies Limited ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between us and you when you create an account or use the service. Contact us at privacy@justiphi.co.nz.
The service
Layer Zero helps you keep track of the maintenance your 3D printers need: the printers and where they are, their print hours, the maintenance tasks you set, and the service records of the work done. It is in early access. Features are still being added and may change, and we may pause or end parts of it while it is being built. We'll tell you before any change that takes away something you rely on, where we can.
Your account
- Give an email address you control, and keep your password and any authenticator to yourself. Turn on two-factor sign-in if you can.
- You are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- One account is for one person. Don't share it; invite the people you work with instead.
Workspaces, members and roles
- Your records live in a workspace. The person who creates one is its first Owner.
- Owners decide who belongs to a workspace and what each member can do (Owner, Technician or Viewer), and are responsible for those choices.
- The records in a workspace belong to that workspace. When someone leaves or is removed, the work they recorded stays, with the name it was recorded under.
Records are kept, not rewritten
Service records and the history of hour readings are kept as they were made. A mistake is corrected or voided with a reason, and the original stays beside the correction. This is what makes the history trustworthy, so it can't be turned off.
Fair use
Don't use the service to:
- break the law, or store anything you don't have the right to store;
- try to reach workspaces or accounts that aren't yours, or test our security without our written agreement;
- overload, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its limits;
- send spam or abuse through invitations or anything else.
We may suspend accounts or workspaces that do, and will tell you why unless the law or safety stops us.
Plans and payment
Every workspace is on the Free plan while paid plans aren't open, with the limits shown on the plans page. Before any paid plan starts, we'll publish its price and you'll choose whether to take it. Nothing you have will be charged for without your agreement.
Your data
You keep the rights to what you put in. You let us store and process it only to run the service for you, as the privacy policy explains. We don't sell it, and we don't look at a workspace's records unless you ask us to help, or we must to keep the service safe or obey the law.
No guarantees during early access
We work to keep the service running and your data safe, and we back it up. But it is provided as it is, without warranties, and you shouldn't rely on it as your only record of safety-critical work. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the past 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Ending
You can stop using the service at any time. To close your account, contact us; self-service closing is on its way. We may end the service, or an account that breaks these terms, after reasonable notice where we can give it.
Changes to these terms
When these terms or the privacy policy change, the version above changes too, and the app asks you to accept the new version before you carry on. We'll explain what changed.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and its courts can hear any dispute about them.
